And, food waste accounts for 8–10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

This is why we're eager to support companies and orgs focused on food waste solutions and upcycling.

💚 Too Good To Go is an app that connects its 85+ million users with partner stores to rescue unsold food and stop it from going to waste.

 

🫜 Imperfect Foods delivers imperfect produce and other foods to customers' doorsteps, at a discount to grocery store prices, reducing food waste.

📠 Metafoodx helps restaurants cut food waste with a 3D AI scanner.

Divert leverages data to prevent waste, diverts edible food to people in need, and transforms unsold food products into renewable energy. 

 

♻️ ReFED is a U.S. nonprofit focused on reducing food waste across the supply chain through data, policy, and innovation. 

💜 Leanpath leverages AI to identify root causes of food waste and change behaviors that lead to that waste (to date, they've prevented over 100 million pounds of food from going to waste!)

 

🍅 Freshflow raised €6.5mm last week to optimize the fresh food supply chain with AI, reducing waste.

🍴 Olio works with businesses to redistribute unsold or unserved food.

 

🏆 Champions 12.3 is coalition of leaders across governments, businesses, and civil society committed to halving global food waste by 2030.

🐼 WWF's Food Waste Warriors engages schools and institutions in reducing food waste and educating youth.

🌎 The NRDC's Food Matters Project focuses on city-level strategies to reduce food waste through policy and community engagement.
